Random Ramblings

Yo yo yo πŸ˜…πŸ˜… it's your girl Ella. Skrrrr

Lolzzz.

Don't mind the introduction there, I've actually been quite busy and stressed lately. My major examination papers were concluded on Friday and I had papers for 5hours that day. One was a failed course while the other was engineering mathematics, pheww. I just thank God it's all over because I couldn't believe it was me that went through that.

Before now, I had a lot of anxiety about this examination period. I had no idea of how I would do it all, doubt and worry clouded my judgement and I was not seeing clearly what was ahead of me. I couldn't just trust in my ability and in the fact that I have a good God who was with me by my side. I would be so unsure of how an exam would go that it would impede my ability to read. Some days I would cry in the bathroom just to help wash away my anxiety. Those tears were really therapeutic.

But look at me now y'all I have two more general courses (na cruise) to write and I'm so happy more like I'm relieved that it's all over. Thank you Jesus!

To other topics...

It was valentines season a few days back and it was quite a boring one this year on campus. The management made sure to cut down on the "excesses" of the all the lover's here. Earlier years saw a lot of drama with the gifts and ohhhh cakes, soo many cakes.  This year was different and people were lowkey about it.

Also a popular food delivery vendor had messed up with people's orders and they had not gotten a proper licence to operate which caused the seizing of many food orders. It was a little crazy. At the end of the day couples had their moments and they were all happy.

This season has also been quite love filled, my friend recently told me she had started seeing someone and there has been news that people in our department started dating πŸ‘€ while me and my friends have been lamenting in our single girls' club(it is well).

Oh well I think I've ranted quite a bit.

Talk to me, how have you been? How's life? Gist me about your valentines, how was it for you? Is there anything you are having anxiety about? I'd love to here all about it in the comments, let's interact.

Thank you for always reading. I luuve you!

GOALLLLLLLSSSSS!

HiiiiiiπŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ  Happy New(33 days old) year. It's 2022 and I thank God for His ever-abundant grace and mercy towards us. I pray that we shall all accomplish all our desires and achieve all our goals for this year. AMENNNN!!!

Now talking about goals, let's do a roll call. How many of us set goals for this year and have failed woefully at them?... MeeeeπŸ™‹

You know how we all had ideas of how 2022 would be and how we all projected the things we were going to do by the first month? Well, I am here to say I haven't done any of them.

You see, the problem is not in setting goals, all of us can do that, you know write down a list of how many this we would love to achieve in a fancy book. The real problem is the "how" of those goals we have set are going to manifest. The processes through which we can achieve those goals. What are the steps I can take in order to make these goals come to life?

In order to set our goals and successfully achieve them, we have to take out time to break these goals down. A typical example is for someone trying to lose weight. The desired goal may be to be 10kg lighter in 3 months. Sounds great right? Well not too fast. Now in order for this to work out, this individual has to break this down into actionable steps like portion control, how many times they would work out a week, the types of foods to avoid and how to control their responses to craving and desires. Once this is done and stuck to, the individual is more likely to succeed than with just a mere goal written. In essence, what I'm saying is to ensure there are processes in place which are able to get us to where we want to be.

This blog post isn't just to encourage you that your goals can be achieved, but it's also for me as well. So remember as you are working on your goals, also know I am too, you are not alone. I understand your struggles, pains and everything in-between. I see you, keep going at it.

I may have written quite a lot today. Have a wonderful year ahead and remember I love you but God loves you even more.

Thanks for always reading! I expect your comments, it has a way of encouraging me to keep writing.
